The summary of HI-TECH BUILDING 2011 - the only trade fair in Russia demonstrating market development trends of building automation systemsPress – Release
The unique exhibition in Russia featuring house & building automation systems HI-TECH BUILDING 2011 was held from November, 8th till November, 10th in Moscow, Expocentre. This year became remarkable for HI-TECH BUILDING project due to its10th anniversary. The exhibition was held at a new fair ground and in new terms. Majority of world known manufacturers of BMS and leading Russian systems integrators participated in the exhibition. Among them are: Advance-S, Arktika Group, Beckhoff Automation, Bolid, Carel, Cimetrics, Clipsal (C-Bus), Delta Controls, Elevel Engeener, Elko EP, EnOcean Alliance, Esylux Rus, Evika (Embedded Systems), Gira, i-camp engineering, Iconics, I-Home.ru, Johnson Controls, Jung, Kieback&Peter, Legrand, M.I.Systems, Marbel, Matek, Mobotix AG, Owen, Produal, Prosoft, Saia Burgess Controls Rus, Sauter, SBT Group, Siemens, Smartflat, Special Engineering Systems, Steinel, Teletask, Thermokon Sensortechnik, Trend Control Systems (Honeywell), Uniservice, Wago Kontakttechnik, Wunderdom & Z-Wave.Me, and many others. Arktika Group and Trend Control Systems acted as the sponsors of the event. The express monitoring showed that the amount of HI-TECH BUILDING 2011visitors was significantly higher in comparison with the previous years. The exhibition was attended by 9.898 guests among which were the leading players of building, construction, automation and operation markets in Russia and the CIS, namely investors, developers, architects, designers, engineers, facility managers, equipment manufacturers and systems integrators. The recent years have shown a great interest to house & building automation systems in Russia which resulted in a large number of private and corporative customers at the exhibition. The Show presented the best novelties of the year: fire safety systems, Web-servers and room sensors from SIEMENS; the updated range of software programmable controls from Jonson Controls; a new premium set of door intercommunication systems, light control systems and switches from Gira; detectors, external sounders and access control devices from Bolid; new input-output systems, Ethernet-controllers, built-in Control Panels and Panels PCs from Beckhoff; solutions on electricity distribution, management of engineering systems complex safety systems from Elevel Engeener; smart home equipment from engineering company Relcongroup. One could also find the latest Regin products on the stand of Artika Group. The most interesting were the latest models of Web-server controllers and two-port controllers with the add-in modules connection from Corrigo. Trend Controls displayed a new range of controllers, new generation drives with adjustable speed for building power consumption control systems and technology for smart windowscontrol. According to interview answers from companies such as Siemens, Kieback&Peter, KNX, Legrand the HI-TECH BUILDING project is an excellent boost for building automation and operation solutions because it has no equivalents in Russia. The annual HI-TECH BUILDING exhibition demonstrates the latest technological innovations, introduces to the latest market trends and provides a very good opportunity to attract new clients. Annually HI-TECH BUILDING not only brings together key players of the automation market, but also presents important discussion issues, concerning trends and features of the industry development. The year 2011 was not an exception. The exhibition business program was very informative. It consisted of leading manufacturers’ trainings, conferences and seminars covering issues of high interest concerning construction of both intelligent and energy- efficient buildings.
The two conferences “Intelligent Building” and “Smart Home” took place on the first day of the exhibition, on November, 8th. Speakers presented the benefits of using intelligent technologies in residential and commercial sector and also shared their own experience on the basis of successfully realized projects. It was mentioned that intelligent systems directly depend on human needs and now they are on the top of development.
According to the speakers a special attention should be paid to the safety of strategically important objects – airports, hospitals, sport arenas, etc. Here reduction in expenditures by using cheaper construction materials or layoffs can result in serious accident rate. That is why the safest way of saving is state-of-the-art energy-efficient automation systems. The main criterion to benefit from construction of such objects is to choose right systems considering the intended function of the building. All participants of the conference have noticed the development of “green” building technologies that can not only meet human demands, but also save our environment. Concerning “Smart Home” systems that are built in houses and flats the main purpose of market players in Russia is to inform consumers of economic efficiency and unchallengeable comfort of implementing “Smart Home” technologies. On November, 9th - the second day of the exhibition, with support of the Passive House Institute there has passed «Building energy saving technologies– Passive House» conference. It was devoted to the modern energy-efficient technologies, allowing to create and operate "passive" houses. The Russian Government has realized that it is necessary to create the legislative base for market development of energy-efficient buildings. In Nizhny Novgorod was set up a pilot project realized together with the Regional Development Ministry. The received results should be used for the further development of Russian "green and passive house" common standards.
The Russian leading systems integrators that have presented interesting and promising building automation decisions were awarded with HI-TECH BUILDING AWARDS 2011 - National Award on the best project on equipment of commercial and residential property with automation and control systems.
